NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (May 27, 2025) – The Rutgers Miller Center on Policing and Community Resilience is pleased to announce that Abraham Foxman, national director emeritus of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), has joined its esteemed Independent Advisory Committee. Mr. Foxman, a renowned advocate for justice, equality, and the fight against anti-Semitism, brings his lifelong dedication to public service, advocacy, and community resilience to the Miller Center’s important work in fostering safer, more inclusive communities.

Dozens of law enforcement leaders form multi-state group to address ‘potential drone threats’ (nj.com)

In the absence of clear answers from federal authorities about the reported drones that have mysteriously appeared in the skies over much of New Jersey and other parts of the Northeast in recent weeks, officials have begun banding together to pool resources and information in the hopes of preparing for what they described as “potential drone threats.”

How Lessons from Atrocities can Improve our Policing

In fact, they, along with the rest of their contingent of law enforcement officials from across the United States and Canada — spearheaded by Paul Goldenberg of the Miller Center for Policing and Community Resilience at Rutgers and the Global Consortium of Law Enforcement Training Executives (GCLETE) — are treated like heroes.
