The Center on Policing will host a panel on the roles and responsibilities of New Jersey state, county, and local law enforcement.  The panel will feature the following experts:

• Major Brandon Gray – New Jersey State Police
• Director Veronica Allende – New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice
• Director Anthony Ambrose – Newark Department of Public Safety
• Chief of Detectives Mitchell McGuire – Essex County Prosecutor’s Office
• Special Counsel to the Acting Prosecutor Robert Laurino – Essex County Prosecutor’s Office

There will be an opportunity to ask the panel questions regarding their career experiences.  The Center on Policing’s goal is to help students understand various career paths within the law enforcement community. The Center hopes this event will aid students in understanding the nature of the work and the skills needed for a law enforcement career.
